Luke Harris is the founding pastor of Crossroads Community Church. In 2002 Luke responded to a call to gospel ministry by joining the Air Force with the intention of becoming an Air Force Chaplain. Pastor Luke found himself serving in his first pastoral position at the age of 27 in a small church in Ashwood, SC. While serving in this church Luke was also serving on Active Duty in the Air Force and completed his Master of Divinity degree in Academic Ministries at Columbia International University / Columbia Biblical Seminary. Upon completion of this degree Luke began work on his PhD in Missiology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Pastor Luke also began serving his second pastorate in Sumter, SC. In 2009 Luke and his family moved back to Oklahoma to plant Crossroads Community Church. Luke was serving as a Reserve Chaplain in the Air Force as well. During this time Pastor Luke stopped his pursuit of a PhD in Missiology and shifted his doctoral work to ministry leadership with a focus on biblical literacy in the local church at Columbia Biblical Seminary. Pastor Luke has pastored CCC for the entire time she has been open and will complete his doctoral work in 2022.
